When people hear I starting to homeschool two kids(Ish), run a small design business(building websites, helping small business, + Etsy shop), and now starting to post on my blog consistently—they usually say, “I don’t know how you do it all.”
Truth? I don’t do it all. But I’ve built rhythms, boundaries, and systems that help me move forward without burning out. Been there done that and don't want to go back to that place!
This isn’t a polished guide to productivity—it’s a peek into how I really manage a business from my kitchen table.

Here's how I run my digital business around motherhood and the farm:
1. I Work in the Margins (Intentionally):
Early mornings are my prime time. It’s quiet, my brain is sharp, and I can knock out 1–2 hours of creative work before the kids wake up.
Nap time is gold. I schedule all my client design work, Canva templates, and web builds during that window.
2. Client Workflows Are Automated:
Each client gets their own Google Drive folder, intake form, and timeline.
I use a trusty dusty notebook to keep track of projects (and my brain).
All contracts and invoices are handled through my Canva templates I made myself.
3. I Batch + Schedule Content: Every Monday, I spend 1–2 hours creating Instagram posts, Pinterest pins, or TPT product updates. I batch graphics in Canva, write captions, and schedule them within Meta.

The Bottom Line:
Running a business from home takes discipline, yes—but it also takes grace. I stopped chasing balance and started chasing rhythm. If you’re building something in the middle of your everything, you’re not alone—and you can do it.
