Free Farm Math Printables for Toddlers & Pre-K Kiddos

Updated: Jun 20

Because learning should be hands-on, adorable, and a little muddy.

Let’s be real—keeping little ones engaged (without screens) while actually teaching them something useful? Not always easy. That’s exactly why I created this set of farm-themed math printables for toddlers and preschoolers.

They’re simple. They’re fun. They sneak in real learning while your kiddo thinks they’re just playing with cows and tractors.

And today, I’m sharing them with you—completely free.

Why Farm-Themed Learning?

There’s something special about using familiar, real-life objects to teach foundational skills. My kids see tractors, animals, eggs, and garden rows daily, so using those visuals in learning just made sense.

But even if you don’t live on a farm, chances are your toddler loves animals, dirt, and big wheels—so these printables work for everyone.

Plus? Farm stuff is just so cute.

Skills Your Littles Will Practice:

  • Counting + number recognition

  • Tracing and early pencil control

  • Sorting, matching, and size comparison

  • Fine motor coordination

  • Following simple instructions

These are designed to be mom-friendly, meaning they won’t overwhelm your day or require special prep.

Just print, grab a crayon, and go.

How We Use Them at Home

In our house, we keep these printables in a drawer with dry erase markers, mini animal toys, and a couple of clipboards.I pull them out when:

  • I’m making dinner and need 10 quiet minutes

  • My toddler is “bored” and wants something new

  • We’re doing homeschool table time with my older child

Sometimes we sit together, and sometimes I let them explore on their own. Either way, I love that they’re learning through play and I don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time.
